Junior Vaughn and senior Williams managed Cincinnati’s comeback from a mere 10-minute shooting drought and a 16-point deficit Wednesday, letting the Bearcats beat the Rutgers by a score of 71-59 for its first BIG EAST victory of the season this year.
Cincinnati somehow managed to overcome a 16-point first-half deficit, making this UC’s largest win since the Bearcats overcame a 17-point deficit to beat the West Virginia on Jan. 2007.
